PRESENTATION:
Today we prepare a dessert that looks like a sweet cloud!
The white tiramisu we suggest is a delicious spoon cake.
No coffee to soak the ladyfingers, but only milk with a bit of cognac.
The result is a perfect, very delicate, but with a slight alcoholic note, which gives the dessert a not too bright taste and makes this confectionery preparation a real delicacy with a milk flavor.
The taste of the latter merges with that of the cream made with Mascarpone Santa Lucia and white chocolate.
The spoon dessert that you will prepare following our advice will give life to an original recipe, a different and very captivating tiramisu.
Suitable for any occasion, this specialty is a candidate to be among the most quoted of your recipe book.
PREPARATION:
Before starting to prepare the recipe, it is important to take a little trick to get the best result: make sure to take the Mascarpone Santa Lucia out of the fridge about 30 minutes before preparation.
To make the white tiramisu you must first of all melt the white chocolate in a bain-marie.
Then leave it to cool.
Meanwhile, work the yolks with the sugar until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
Then, slowly incorporate the Mascarpone Santa Lucia.
Work the mixture well until a smooth cream is obtained.
Then, add the melted chocolate previously and mix again.
At the end of the operation, dedicate yourself to whisk the egg white until stiff and add it to the cream, with gentle movements from the bottom to the top.
Finish the white tiramisù quickly soaking the ladyfingers in the sauce made by mixing milk and cognac.
Then, place them in a baking dish. Cover them with a layer of cream.
Proceed putting the soaked ladyfingers and the cream again. Keep it up to fill the whole pan.
At this point, put the cake covered with a sheet of food film in the refrigerator at rest for 4 hours.
Finally, before serving, cover the surface of your dessert with flakes of white chocolate.
CURIOSITY:
The dessert proposed today is suitable to present at the end of important meals such as those that animate parties such as Christmas.
With a rich taste, a "friend" of experimentation, culinary research and imagination, this dessert can be customized according to the inspiration of the moment and depending on the products you have available in your kitchen.
Try preparing the dessert with delicious rice cookies and decorating it with freshly picked blackberries and wrapped with one of the most famous sauces of pastry: the caramel sauce. The latter will be made with an enveloping warm caramel which will be added to the butter, an ingredient that must be worked in cooking with a whisk and then take the cream.
But that is not all. This spoon cake is in fact excellent also in the version prepared with cocoa shortbread biscuits and sprinkled in a simple and quick way with hazelnut grains, or with a part of hazelnut grains and one of coconut granules. In both cases the result will be really delicious.
The white tiramisu in the savory variant is surprising and appetizing. In this recipe the mascarpone cream without sugar will be added with whipped egg whites and enriched with a pinch of nutmeg and diced vegetables sautéed in extra virgin olive oil. The cream made will stuff peppers (boiled in boiling water or passed in the oven) and not savory biscuits. The plate must be prepared by placing the alternating layers in color (yellow, red and green) at the base of the preparation. These will then be filled with the cream and will go to accommodate another layer of peppers. Continue like this until all ingredients are used up.
